1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how the National Academy of Leadership & Innovation ("NALI" or "the academy") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit naliacademy.com, send an enquiry, request a brochure or contact the academy by email or WhatsApp.
The academy acts as the controller of the personal data described here. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@naliacademy.com.
2. The laws the academy follows
The academy processes personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Sultanate of Oman issued by Royal Decree 6/2022 and its Executive Regulations, and the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 where it applies.
Where you visit the site from the European Union or the European Economic Area, the academy also respects the rights given to you by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
3. Data the academy collects
Data you provide: your name, work email, organization, job title, country, phone number, the programs or services you are interested in, and anything you write in your message.
Data collected automatically: technical information such as your browser type, device, language setting and pages visited, held in standard server logs. The site stores your language choice in your browser so it can show the right version on your next visit.
The academy does not ask for sensitive personal data through this site. Please do not include health, financial or identity document details in your messages.
4. Why the academy uses your data
To answer your enquiry, send the brochure you requested and arrange conversations with an advisor. The legal basis is your consent and the steps you ask the academy to take before any agreement.
To run, secure and improve the website. The legal basis is the academy's legitimate interest in a safe and working site.
To send news about programs and events, only where you have agreed to receive it. You can withdraw that agreement at any time.
5. Who receives your data
Your data is seen only by academy staff who need it to answer you, and by service providers who host the website and handle email on the academy's behalf under written obligations of confidentiality and security.
The academy does not sell personal data. It shares data with public authorities only where the law requires it.
6. Transfers outside your country
The site's hosting and email providers may store data on servers outside Oman or Egypt. Where that happens, the academy relies on the safeguards the applicable law requires, such as contractual protections and providers that apply recognized security standards.
7. How long the academy keeps data
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after your last contact with the academy, unless you join a program, in which case it moves to your participant record under separate terms. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes and then deleted.
8. Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a usable format, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
To use any of these rights, write to info@naliacademy.com. The academy will confirm your identity and reply within the period the law sets.
You also have the right to complain to the competent authority: in Oman, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology; in Egypt, the Personal Data Protection Center; in the EU, the supervisory authority in your country.
9. Security
The academy uses encrypted connections, access controls and reputable providers to protect your data. No online service can promise complete security, so the academy will inform you and the competent authority of any breach where the law requires it.
10. Cookies and similar tools
The site uses only what it needs to work, such as remembering your language. It does not use advertising cookies. If analytics tools are added later, the academy will ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
11. Children
The site and its programs are meant for adults. The academy does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this policy
The academy may update this policy as its services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes will be highlighted on the site.
