Overview

The step from manager to leader is where many careers stall. This program prepares department heads and rising managers for that step with weekly evening sessions that fit around their work.

Participants apply every session to an action learning project: a real challenge chosen with their sponsor. They present the result to their organization at the end, which gives the sponsor a solved problem and a clear view of the participant's readiness.

Strategic Thinking

Seeing the wider picture and linking daily work to strategy.

Leading Teams

Building trust, delegating well and leading hybrid teams.

Managing Change

Planning change, handling resistance and keeping momentum.

Decision Making

Choosing well under pressure with incomplete information.

Who should attend

For managers named in succession plans or ready for a wider role.

  • Department and section heads
  • Project and operations managers
  • High-potential national talent
  • Managers newly promoted to lead teams

Usually 5 years of experience or more, with people management today.
